Urban One was launching a beauty product line and required a corporate
identity. The products were for a unisex audience and they wanted
to be careful not to address only one gender. They also required
a flexible image that could be displayed in various sizes and be
displayed on very small containers.
A city skyline formed the base of the design to represent urbanites; the target consumer of the product. The logo was designed so that the graphic could be displayed separately from the word mark allowing the logo to be displayed in a wide range of sizes.
