Newsletter
Their Challenge:
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers releases a quarterly newsletter to their members which details events and news items relevant to their community. They had come to WebBloom with concerns that their newsletter was not reaching out to its members and, in turn, not effectively informing them of important issues that concerned them. At the same time, their members had become accustomed to a certain design in the newsletter and the relative look had to be maintained.
Our Solution:
After a thorough evaluation of the existing newsletter, WebBloom was able to implement a few subtle changes to create a more visually attractive publication. This included changing the font to a more legible typeface, using proper typography, and keeping the articles together on the page. The old newsletter had also unsuccessfully tried to utilize all of the white space on the page. By creating some additional space and breathing room, the newsletter offered a less aggressive look and became more inviting to the reader.
